Barn

The three story bank barn was built in and around the same time as the main manor house.
It has been reported to have housed revolutionary troops, during the war for independence,
and union soldiers, during the civil war. Several places in the stone walls have been chiseled
out for gun ports.

The restoration and conversion to offices and apartments was done in 1967 by Mr. Nickolas
De Wilde, owner at the time. The work was done under the supervisor of Mr. Edwin Brumbaugh.
